Ghana Black Stars Donate Items to Dzorwulu Special School

The Ghana Black Stars, recently made a meaningful visit to the Dzorwulu Special School in Accra. This visit allowed the team to connect with students and staff at the school, just before they departed for their crucial match against Angola in Luanda.

Led by Team Manager Ameenu Shardow, Director of Communications Henry Asante Twum, and GFA Foundation Director Malcom Appeadu, the Black Stars spent quality time with the children, bringing warmth and excitement to the school. Captain André Ayew explained the purpose of the visit, saying, “On behalf of the Ghana Football Association, the Black Stars Technical team, and my colleagues, we came here to spend time with you and offer our little support as part of our contribution to your growth.”

Ayew emphasized that helping those in need is a value the team holds dear. “We believe that lending a hand of support is divine… Today, we thought it wise to come over here and support you,” he added. Ayew also asked for the students’ prayers as they prepared for the important game against Angola, saying, “We seek your prayers and support going into our crucial game.”

During their visit, the Black Stars donated essential items, including food, water, and an undisclosed amount of money, all of which were warmly received by the students and staff. The gifts brought smiles and joy to the faces of the children, highlighting the team’s dedication to uplifting and supporting communities off the field.
