Kwame A Plus, a well-known entertainment critic, believes that people in Ghana should be able to travel anywhere in the world without a visa. He shared his thoughts during a discussion on the TV show “United Showbiz” on United TV.
As a panelist on the show, Kwame explained that the current economic crisis in Ghana is making life very difficult for many people. Stating that everyone should have the chance to seek a better life in other countries, even if it means travelling without a visa. Kwame is known for speaking the hard truth and believes that the struggles in Ghana are reason enough for people to leave and find opportunities elsewhere.
Kwame also argued that many people in Europe and other continents did not get there through legal means. He said that some used dubious methods to enter those countries. Because of this, he thinks the visa process should be scrapped altogether, allowing everyone to travel freely.
His take came after the Ministry of National Security released a press statement on July 16, 2024. The statement revealed that members of Ghana’s National Paralympic Team disappeared after arriving in Oslo, Norway. They were there to prepare for the Fjordcraft Bergen City Marathon.
