According to reports by NBC 10 News, the West African giants will use the university’s world-class facilities as their headquarters throughout the tournament, which will be jointly hosted by United States, Canada, and Mexico this summer.

Ghana’s selection of Bryant University is expected to be formally confirmed by Ocean State 2026 at a scheduled news conference. The institution earned its place in FIFA’s official Base Camp Brochure following extensive inspections and evaluation visits by global football authorities, highlighting the university’s top-tier infrastructure and readiness to host international teams.

The university boasts modern athletic facilities and a strong reputation in sports development. Notably, its training complex previously served as the long-term preseason training site for the New England Patriots for over two decades, demonstrating its capability to support elite-level performance and preparation.

Ghana’s tournament journey

The Black Stars are set to begin their campaign with an opening Group L fixture against Panama national football team in Toronto on June 17, 2026.

They will then face England national football team six days later at the Boston Stadium in Foxborough, before concluding their group-stage matches against Croatia national football team on June 27 in Philadelphia.
