Creative Vision in Action: Caleb Yeslord Delivers a Flawless Comedy Special for Kwame Obed

When comedian Kwame Obed announced his first comedy special, it was clear the project would require a steady, strategic, and creative hand. That responsibility fell to event manager Caleb Yeslord, who transformed the idea into one of the most impressive comedy productions of 2025.

Held on 14th November 2025 at 2927, Terema Street, the show gathered a vibrant mix of comedy lovers, industry creatives, and curious first-timers eager to see what Obed’s debut would bring. What they experienced was a well-crafted, tightly executed production that exceeded expectations.

Caleb assembled a strong lineup of comedians, Smile, Kwaku Forty, Kwame Ansah, Lekzy DeComic, Real NKB, Okokobioko, Ebenezer Dwomoh, Kojo Pjay, Ranzy Ray, and Jeneral Ntatia, each delivering energetic sets that kept the audience roaring. Musician Enzyme added a refreshing break with a lively performance that complemented the night perfectly.

Serving as host was Papayaw Ataalme, whose control of the stage, humor, and timing supported the flow Caleb envisioned. The coordination between host, performers, and production team created a seamless rhythm throughout the show.

What truly set this event apart, however, were the calculated risks behind it. For a first comedy special, choosing a Friday night a highly competitive entertainment day was a gamble. Even more daring was the decision that made Kwame Obed the first comedian in Ghana to ever release a public comedy set list prior to the show. This move demanded unwavering discipline from the performers and the production team, and thanks to Caleb’s leadership, the structure was followed with precision.

Another hurdle was the venue itself. The location wasn’t widely known, which could have discouraged attendance. But through clear communication and coordinated guidance, Caleb ensured every guest found their way without frustration.

All these efforts paid off. The show started exactly at 7:30 PM and wrapped up at 10:47 PM, earning applause for its remarkable timekeeping a rare achievement in local event production.

Working behind the scenes, Caleb Yeslord, alongside MC Prince and a committed production crew, managed every detail: stage layout, lighting, sound, crowd flow, performer transitions, and backstage activity. Their teamwork brought the event to life with professionalism and flair.

“At An Early Age” didn’t just introduce Kwame Obed as a fresh comedic voice, it highlighted Caleb Yeslord’s capability as a visionary event manager who knows how to turn risks into remarkable outcomes. The success of this debut special positions Caleb as a standout creative force, raising the standard for comedy and entertainment events in Ghana.
