
In a heartwarming display of compassion and community support, Wensah Foundation International, a Sunyani-based NGO, has come to the aid of a mentally challenged new mother, Lamisi Tindani, who was detained at the Sunyani Teaching Hospital due to her inability to pay medical bills amounting to after undergoing a successful cesarean section (CS) to deliver a baby boy.
Upon learning of Lamisi’s situation, the Wensah Foundation International team promptly visited the hospital to assess the situation and provide assistance. The very next day, the NGO settled all of Lamisi’s outstanding medical bills, ensuring she could focus on her recovery and caring for her newborn without the burden of financial stress.
In addition to covering the medical expenses, Wensah Foundation International demonstrated its commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals by donating essential items to Lamisi for the well-being of both her and her baby. The mother of the patient received these items with gratitude, expressing heartfelt thanks to the NGO for their kindness and generosity.

The hospital’s is administrator, Mr. Omar, extended his appreciation to Wensah Foundation International for their philanthropic efforts. He encouraged the NGO to continue supporting vulnerable women in society, acknowledging their crucial role in promoting the welfare of those in need.
