
Multiple award winning Ghanaian female singer and performer Clara Kersia Agyei, branded as Klarah Kay, has voiced out on how her latest masterpiece, titled Mercy, was created.
The sausy female singer, as part of her promotional program for the beautiful project, was on Class Xtra with Zeal Nana Kweku Bliss on Saturday, November 23, 2024. She spoke about the new song, the struggles she has encountered in her musical journey, and her upcoming album.
According to the Black Is Beautiful singer, the highly entertaining song with relatable messages features Kwame Nkansah, now rebranded as Kino Bahangz was sourced from the frustrations in the Ghanaian music industry. She added that she has tried to put out the best of her abilities, yet she has not been able to penetrate the Ghanaian music market as expected.

The amazing project, which had Myco Beatz showing some quality music production, talks about the struggles upcoming acts face as they chase their dreams. Nevertheless, Klarah Kay is confident of realizing her dreams and hopes her time to sail smoothly as a top Ghanaian singer is imminent.
The independent artiste also opened up her admirations for legendary Ghanaian singer Akosua Agyapong. She mentioned that she took a few tips of the musical prowess, dancing abilities, and the fashion sense of the ‘Kokooko’ hitmaker. She hopes she can get the honors of having the great Ghanaian musician bless her with a feature one day. She added the likes of Nigeria’s Tiwa Savage and Spice from Jamaica as her favorite.

Mercy is the first song off the Alka Bulen Extende Playlist from the Hotty Notty Music camp. It is one of the two songs with features on the project. The EP has five beautiful songs and is ready to move the rhythmic limbs of every listener. The project is set to be released early in the year 2025.
