Jamaican dancehall sensation, Grace Latoya Hamilton, famously known as Spice, has shown her commitment to uplifting the next generation by donating school supplies to the LA Anglican Basic School in Accra. The donation, made on November 23, 2024, was a heartfelt gesture aimed at enhancing teaching and learning for the young pupils.
Through her Grace Hamilton Foundation, Spice provided essential items, including school uniforms, shoes, whiteboard markers, and refreshments, among others. During her visit, she shared that her own struggles as a child inspired her actions. “Growing up, I often lacked these items for school, so I know how much this means to these kids,” she explained.

The headmistress of the school expressed deep gratitude, saying, “When we heard you were coming with relief items, we were so excited. Some children come to school without sandals, and some wear the same uniform all week. Your visit has brought joy to myself, the staff, and most importantly, our learners. We say a big thank you for the love.”
Spice’s visit to Ghana was initially at the invitation of Ghanaian dancehall star Stonebwoy. She joined him for the video shoot of “Jiggle and Whine,” a track from his latest album, Up and Running 6. However, she made time to give back to the community, demonstrating her dedication to nurturing future leaders.
Spice’s thoughtful donation and impactful visit have left an indelible mark on the school community, proving once again that small acts of kindness can create meaningful change.
