Charles Nii Armah Mensah, better known as Shatta Wale, recently made a generous donation to The Buzstop Boys at their work site in Alajo. The Dancehall star’s contribution was a way to show his appreciation for their voluntary work for Ghana.
Shatta Wale presented a cheque of Gh¢30,000 to The Buzstop Boys. This amount was raised by his fans during a live Instagram session where he asked them to contribute Gh¢30,000 in just 10 minutes. He wanted to test their loyalty to his brand and informed them that the funds would support The Buzstop Boys.
Accompanied by his team, Shatta Wale arrived at Alajo to hand over the cheque. Keeping his promise, he visited The Buzstop Boys while they were busy cleaning gutters and tidying the environment.
The Buzstop Boys are a group of volunteers in Accra, Ghana, who focus on cleaning and desilting gutters.
