The Decorated African rapper, Sarkodie, has shown his support for fellow rapper Guru in the race for the University of Ghana-Legon SRC President. During his performance on Friday, May 25, 2024, at the PentHall week celebration, Sarkodie encouraged students to vote for Guru. He promised that artists like himself would return to the campus if Guru wins.
Guru, the LAPAZ TOYOTA hitmaker is now pursuing a university degree, surprising many people who didn’t expect him to go back to school. Guru wants to achieve more and add a new milestone to his name.
This move is similar to when the dancehall artist Samini was elected SRC President of GIMPA in 2023.
