Ghanaian gospel singer and songwriter, Prophet Joseph Atarah had an overwhelming experience of God’s glory at the second edition of his frontlined event, Atarah Praise.
The prophetic man of God saw multitudes trooping in for his event, which came off on Sunday, May 19, 2024. The praise filled event was organized at the forecourt of the Believers Grace Crown Ministry International Bond Square, Adenta-Barrier. It had Jerry Justice and Madonna Oppong steering the wheels of the event with their elegant stage management.
The multi-talented gospel singer, who heads the Believers Grace Ministry International at Adenta-Barrier had the likes of Piesie Esther, Empress Gifty, Mabel Okyere, Patience Nyarko, Lady Prempeh, Akesse Brempong, Jack Alolome and Anointed Micheal bringing down the heavens with heartfelt ministration at the exciting event.
The man of God, who has professionally been in the Ghanaian music scene for less than three years, has done tremendously well for his brand. His maiden single, Woye Odo, which is a rendition of ‘Belembe’ by legendary Bessa Simons and features the Waye Me Yie hit maker, Piesie Esther, shot him to the musical limelight. He has built on that strong foundation with his music receiving a lot of attention, gaining numerous nominations as well as winning some credible awards.
Prophet Joseph Atarah commenced his musical journey by playing instruments as a band member. He plays the percussion, drums, dondo, and a little bit of the keyboard as he has been part of a bands group, who played with Highlife greats such as Lucky Mensah and Oheneba Kissi.
The primary edition of the Atarah Praise took place at the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission at East Legon, Bawaleshie, on Sunday, May 28, 2023. It had the likes of Perez Musik, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Ruth Adjei, and Praise Esther supporting him with some musical performances. With regards to the significant improvement seen at this event, the next edition is really going to be huge, and organizers will need to forsee this to prevent an overflow.
Patrons expectedly came to the event with their prayer request and received some prayers from the man of the moment as well as other great men of God. There were also some fundraising exercises geared towards the provision of some sewing machines for at least two lucky individuals at the event so as to secure a good future for them.
Atarah Praise 2024 provided a lot of people with a life changing encounter with God Almighty in an exciting environment. Hopefully, this breeds goodness and blessings to all stakeholders of the event.
