My Attack on Stonebwoy Was Disrespectful – Afia Odo

Efia Odo has apologized to Stonebwoy, the Bhim Nation president, for her harsh comments during the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA). Afia odo admitted her emotions took over because she believed King Promise was the best candidate for Artiste of the Year.

The night before the awards, Afia Odo tweeted, calling Stonebwoy an “old man” and claimed his efforts for the year were not enough to win the prestigious award. This sparked a lot of reactions from fans and the music community.

During a panel discussion on United TV, Afia Odo was asked why she attacked Stonebwoy. She apologized, explaining it was because of her strong support for King Promise. She said, “I acknowledge that my comments about Stonebwoy were disrespectful, and I take full responsibility for them. I spoke out of emotion, and I retract my statements and sincerely apologize.”

Afia Odo also added, “I wanted a significant platform to express my apology, and this is the opportunity. The truth is, I feel Stonebwoy is bigger than the Telecel Ghana Music Awards. I believe he deserves even greater recognition, like being on the Grammy stage.”

Efia Odo’s apology shows her respect for Stonebwoy and her realization that her words were hurtful. This incident highlights the importance of thinking before speaking, especially in public. It also emphasizes the strong emotions fans can feel for their favorite artists.
