Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, the staunch supporter and patron of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has once again proven his loyalty by stepping in to rescue the party from financial distress. Following the 2024 elections, the NPP found itself cash-strapped, struggling to pay workers and maintain basic administrative functions.
As news of the party’s hardship reached Kennedy Agyapong, he quickly intervened, describing the NPP as his “home” and stressing that he could not stand by and watch it collapse. Demonstrating true commitment, Agyapong donated a whopping GHC 1,000,000 to settle debts and support the smooth running of the party’s operations.
“The NPP is my home, and in difficult times, family shows up,” Agyapong stated. “When I heard that the party was struggling to cover even basic operational costs just a few months into opposition, it weighed heavily on my heart. I felt it was only right to step in and offer my widow’s mite to help alleviate the financial challenges the party is facing.”

He also called for unity among party members, urging them to come together with a common purpose to reclaim power in the 2028 elections.
This timely intervention not only highlights Kennedy Agyapong’s unwavering love for the NPP but also cements his commitment to seeing the party thrive even in its most challenging moments. His actions serve as an inspiring reminder of the power of loyalty and collective support in politics.

With leaders like Agyapong rallying behind it, the NPP is poised to bounce back stronger and better positioned for future success.
