In an interview with Jay Foley on the Culture Daily Show on 3Music TV, the CEO of Flip the Music shared some exciting news. He revealed that Ghanaian singer Gyakie is a co-owner of Flip the Music.
Electromirror, the CEO, talked about their relationship as artist and manager, which led to the announcement of Gyakie’s role in the company. He explained that Gyakie first contacted him on Twitter to share her new music. At that time, they had never met, but Gyakie’s courage impressed him. She asked him to listen to her unreleased track, and he was drawn to her music.
Electromirror said, “At the time, I had not met her before. She sent me a message on Twitter to listen to her yet-to-be-released track, and her courage drew me in further. She has been a great act since and has never disappointed.”
He also mentioned that he does not interfere with her music but her look and brand is his forcus. As such, he will continue to strive to endure that her brand is fully represented at all times.
Gyakie, known for her hits like scar, run away, rent free amongs others, has shown great dedication to her craft. She has delighted her fans with wonderful melodies and has represented Ghana on various international stages. She has toured Europe and other continents, showcasing her talent and making Ghana proud.
