Talented Ghanaian choreographer, Danita Akosua Adomaah Yeboah, widely known as Afronitaaa and her adorable partner, Abigail Adjiri have made Ghanaians proud after their impressive performance that got them the ticket to compete at the main event of this year’s Britain’s Got Talent competition.
The footage of the auditions of the eighteenth edition of the televised British talent competition was recently released on the BGT on their social media pages. The display of Afronitaaa and Abigail at the audition, which was organized in the city of Manchester on Friday, February 9, 2024, has got Ghanaians showering them with congratulatory messages. The duo deservedly received a “YES” from each of the four judges; Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and Bruno Tonioli, as they entertain the audience with their stunning performance.
The words of the CEO of Afro Star Academy on the talented Abigail were an emotional and inspirational highlight of their impressive appearance on the British Got Talent auditioning platform. She revealed how Abigail was recently helped to hear through the left ear after being born with hearing impairment. She added that the young choreographer has been following the BGT competitions and felt she had to help the TV3’s Talented Kids season 14 winner realize her dreams.
The audition had Afronitaaa’s auntie as well as Abigail’s mother in the audience as they cheered their wards on. The duo exhibited a great chemistry, and it feels great to identify the sort of concurrent partnership since they started working together. The confidence exhibited by Abigail and her beautiful adventurous journey on this platform, along with Afronitaaa, is admirable. This is definitely a leap in the right direction for exciting choreographers as their brand has begun to enjoy traction from all over the world.
The 2023 RTP Instagram Influencer of the Year is an intriguing Afrobeat dancer who has been able to transition so well following her separation from the Dance With Purpose Academy, earlier in January, 2024. She and her current management team have surprised dance lovers as to how well they have held her brand positive amidst all the conversations around her. Despite being very young, she has paid her dues and has contributed to the growth of the Ghana Dance Industry.
The first edition of British Got Talent, which was organized in 2007, had Opera singer Paul Potts emerging as winner. The well established talent exhibition platform has had dancers such as George Sampson, Diversity, Musa, displaying their great talents. It will be a great honor to the people of Ghana to see Afronitaaa and Abigail in the main competition alluring everyone with their fascinating dance skills to win the competition which comes with a lot of benefits as well as a ÂŁ250,000 grand prize.
At this juncture, the former DWP ringleader and the Talented Kids winner will only need the support of Ghanaians, especially those based in the United Kingdom. Knowing the capabilities of Afronitaaa, there is enough confidence of them making an emphatic statement and probably winning this competition.
