Citi TV, a popular media house, has rebranded to Channel 1 TV. This change marks a new chapter in their mission to inform, educate, and entertain society. The new name, Channel 1 TV, reflects their fresh ideas and new look.
The management believes Channel 1 TV will continue delivering top-notch content, making it a leading source of news, business, and educational programming in Ghana and beyond. The Managing Director shared insights about this change with guests. “As we transition to Channel 1 TV, we are not just changing our name; we are embracing a new identity that reflects our commitment to innovation, excellence, and connecting with our audiences on a deeper level. This transformation represents a new drive to elevate our content, engage with our community in even more meaningful ways, and deliver an unparalleled viewing experience,” said Attah-Mensah.
The rebranding event took place at the Channel 1 TV building in Tesano on June 4, 2024. Attendees included the Inspector General of Police, George Dampare, Minister of Information, Madam Fatima Abukabar, and the President of the Ghana Journalist Association.
