The second edition of the Diaspora Dance and Arts Festival, which is now the vessel for the realization of this amazing dream will take place at the Food Court of the Accra Mall on Tuesday, December 24, 2024. It will have some skilled artists, led by the ambassador of the event Padiki, perform some magic with their brushes and paints. The show will also have about a hundred choreographers coming through with some epic dance moves in the night.

As part of the festival, the Chris Attoh Foundation, themed ‘Hungry For The Needy’ will be launched as funds will be raised for a charity project. This will go a long way to support the less privileged in the society and give hope to the poor and needy.

The sleek actor, in a video released on social media by the UDAI Studios, invites the general public to experience this art-filled day as those from the diaspora are trooping in to enjoy such spectacles in Ghana. With the lineup of activities of this remarkable project, it will be marked as a regrettable to miss this festival as entry is free for everyone.

Ghana is gradually finding some appreciation for the less rated crafts, and dance and arts are surely in the list of the fortunate creative sectors. U Dance Arts International, USA, is one organization that has channeled all its efforts to see the efficacy of these fields. The festival has some sponsorship support from Azar Group, Samsung, Indomie, and Telecel Ghana.

Diaspora Dance and Arts Festival had its first edition a year ago at the Afrikiko Leisure Center, where the organizers marveled at the talents that showed up to grace their platform. Having some paint artists on the project this year is a great step up for the dream as the likes of Padiki and Chris Attoh will be hugely impactful.
