SheRise Ghana has received a significant boost in its efforts to support girls in need, thanks to a generous donation from Charger Limited. Dr. Emmanuel Borketey, the CEO of Charger Limited, contributed GH¢12,000 to help SheRise reach more girls facing menstrual challenges.

Charger Limited, the producers of Happy Man Bitters and Black Legend Gin, made this donation to aid SheRise in their mission. Dr. Borketey explained that the donation is aimed at enabling the non-profit organization to provide assistance to as many needy girls as possible.

Sarah Teni Babohima, the CEO of SheRise Ghana, expressed her gratitude to Dr. Borketey and Charger Limited for their support. She assured that every penny of the donation would be used wisely. “What he gave us can cater for about 1,000 packs of pads, which is very significant,” she said. “My team and I at SheRise Ghana are really grateful for this generous donation.”

Sarah also emphasized that the money would be used effectively to help as many girls as possible. “We are grateful and we pray that the Almighty enlarges his coast,” she added.

SheRise Ghana has been dedicated to helping girls from poor backgrounds manage their menstrual periods hygienically. Many girls from these backgrounds struggle to afford menstrual products, which affects their health and education. Some even stay out of school due to these challenges.

By donating pads, SheRise aims to give hope and support to these girls. This initiative helps ensure they can attend school and have a better chance to succeed alongside their peers.
