Ghanaian Afrobeats choreographer, Danita Akosua Adomaah Yeboah, widely known as Afronitaaa has deployed the two children of the reigning Telecel Ghana Music Awards and 3 Music Awards Artiste of the year, Stonebwoy in a dance video for his latest songs, Jejereje.
The exciting choreographers in the beautifully directed dance video, with most of them below the teenage bracket, did an amazing job on the song with some rehearsed dance moves. The talented kids appeared and performed in groups and delivered the skills with some level of perfection.
The intriguing part of the video was when Stonebwoy’s daughter, Jidula and son, Janam, were spotted with Afronitaaa trying to explore their dance talent. The two kids also featured in the official video along with their parents in the music video of Everlasting, one of Stonebwoy’s recent hit songs.
The brand ambassador Kalyppo has really done so well for her brand as a choreographer after parting ways with the DWP Academy. She, together with TV3’s Talented Kids season 14 winner, Abigail, went all the way to placing third in the Britain’s Got Talent. Her long-term goal of instituting a dance academy for kids was realized shortly after.
Stonebwoy’s latest released Jejereje, which was an instant hit song that has brewery a lot of conversations. These include commendation, with regards to the production, the exciting Afro feel, and the infectious nature of the song. Some comments have also been related to the release of the latest project, Shatta Movement, SAFA.
In all the back and forth, one of the prime beneficiaries of Jejereje is the Ghanaian choreographers. The song will definitely feature in most dance performances of the various Afro dance groups in the country and the world at large. Since it is a few months to Christmas, which is a great festive season in Ghana, most choreographers will be creating numerous dance moves for this song.
The Bhim Nation president has been actively involved in the social media videos with regard to the promotion of this song. The massive reception of the song says it all about the rhythm of the song. Some fans have started calling for a remix, and Skrew Faze is the prime target everyone is rooting for.
The working relationships between Ghanaian musical artistes and choreographers have improved in recent years and are worth emulating. This has created some significant excitement in the entertainment industry. Hopefully, this continues, and both parties enjoy the realized opportunities and benefits.
