The Aburi Girls Senior High School community is mourning the sudden death of their beloved headmistress, Mrs. Cynthia Anim. She passed away unexpectedly while attending an educational workshop in Rome, Italy.
Mrs. Anim, who had led the school with dedication and grace, was in Rome as part of Ghana’s delegation for the Hippo English Olympiad. The event brought together educators and students from different countries, with Ghana being invited to observe and contribute to discussions on educational growth. Alongside Mrs. Anim were the Deputy Minister of Education, other senior high school heads, and a select group of students.
Her untimely passing has left the entire school in a state of shock and sorrow. The school community, known for its strong academic culture and commitment to excellence, now grieves the loss of a leader who had greatly impacted the institution. Mrs. Anim’s sudden death has also affected the broader education sector, as she was highly regarded for her leadership and contributions.
The official announcement of her passing was made by Rev. E. A. Asiedu, the Chairman of the School’s Governing Body. In his statement, he expressed the deep sadness felt by the entire school and offered condolences to her family, friends, and colleagues.
