Mr. Nik Amarteifio is a distinguished Ghanaian entrepreneur, investor, and corporate leader with decades of experience shaping industries across Ghana and beyond. He is the Chairman and majority shareholder of Equatorial Cross Acquisition Limited (ECA), an investment holding firm with controlling interests in Dannex Limited and Omni Media Limited, the parent company of Citi FM.
A proud Ghanaian, Mr. Amarteifio received his early education at Mawuli Secondary School (1964) in the Volta Region and later at Achimota School (1966) in Accra. He further pursued higher education abroad, earning a Degree in Economics from Wesleyan University, Connecticut, USA, and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the prestigious Harvard Business School.
Currently, Mr. Amarteifio serves as the Executive Chairman of Dannex Ayrton Starwin Plc, where he provides strategic leadership and ensures the company adheres to the highest standards of corporate governance. His vision is to position the company as an internationally recognized leader in healthcare solutions.
Beyond pharmaceuticals, he is also the Vice Chairman of Ghana Agro Foods Company (GAFCO), a leading player in agro-processing and veterinary medicine.

In 2000, his investment vehicle, ECA Holdings, acquired Dannex Limited, transforming it from an ailing company into one of Ghana’s pharmaceutical powerhouses. By 2011, Dannex had grown into a business with annual revenues of US$4 million and a workforce of 170 employees. The company’s growth trajectory continued with the acquisition of majority shares in Starwin Products, resulting in the merger that created DannexStarwin.
