The Federation of African Youth Development is a youth-centered organization committed to empowering young people across the African continent through strategic partnerships, educational opportunities, and leadership development initiatives. On April 14th, the National Executive Board of FOAYD took a significant step in furthering these goals by making a courtesy visit to the TIES Global Fair Representative in Ghana. This engagement served as a platform to explore collaborative efforts that can benefit Ghanaian youth, particularly in the area of international education.
During the visit, the discussion centered on building sustainable partnerships and identifying scholarship opportunities for Ghanaians to study in India. The Federation views education as a critical tool for youth empowerment and development, and such international opportunities can significantly enhance the skill set and global exposure of young Africans. The meeting also involved detailed deliberations on mobilizing large-scale youth participation in the upcoming TIES Global Fair events scheduled to be held in Kumasi and Accra.
