It’s a stacked card,and CEO of Cabic Boxing Promotions, Ivan Bruce Cudjoe reiterated his drive to bring back the glory days of Ghana Boxing, ” I’m here to churn out world beaters, not local champions”, he said during the weigh-in and presser.
Headlining the bill is Kofi Dana from the Warriors Boxing Gym at Kokomlemle, Accra, settling scores with Nigerian hard puncher Kazeem Ajiboye in an international Super Welterweight affair.
Dana, trained by former boxer Alfred Tetteh, is poised to make a huge statement on fight night.
The Co-Main event features Osumanu Haruna aka “Saabo”, who defends his WBO Africa Heavyweight title against old foe Idris Afinni, also from Nigeria.
Daniel Selassie Gorsh stays busy against Isaac Nettey in a bantamweight 10 rounder, whiles Olympic Bronze medalist Samuel Takyi combats Togolese slugger Komlangan Hounkpatin in a Super Lightweight contest.
Emmanuel Mankattah Sackey and Emmanuel Noi Mensah would be an exciting Featherweight fixture, with Michael Darko and Isaac Quartey in a middleweight fray.
Former Black Bomber Theophilus Allotey squares up against Jonathan Agbeviade at Super Flyweight and Africanus Neequaye comes up against Odarlai Lamptey also at Super Lightweight.
Emmanuel Quaye of the Wisdom Gym and Korley Collison clash at Middleweight and WBA Pan Africa champion Delali Miledzi has a date with Beninois technician Naimou Aziz at Super Middleweight.
Son of maverick Ex champ ” Bukom Banku; Abubakar Kamoko aka ” Ambitious Tilapia ” fights Kwesi Tutu in a light heavyweight duel, with stablemate Kevin Abraham taking on Fuseini Ahmed also at Light Heavyweight. Both boxers ( Abu Kamoko and Kevin Abraham) are managed by Sharaf Mahama’s Legacy Rise Sports.
Concluding the main card would be Mubarak Abubakar versus Ayittey Okainja in a middleweight contest.
The preliminary card features debutant Jacob Addokwei Allotey Vs Ebenezer Devoss, Nathaniel Suppey Vs Frank Mensah and two Nigerien debutants Salmane Illiassou Partwata and Khalid Illiassou Partwata.
The two Nigerien debutants face Sampson Aryee and Michael Quaye respectively.
