Hip-hop and hiplife musician Elorm Adablah, popularly known as E.L, has revealed his intention to vote in the upcoming elections in Ghana. The rapper and songwriter made this known during an interview on Hitz FM. When asked about his political stance, E.L shared that he has released a couple of songs to address various challenges in Ghana. However, he has not created any campaign song for a political party.
“We all have our loyalties, but I think it’s not right for me to make mine known just now,” E.L explained. He further stated that despite not having voted in recent elections, he feels it is time to get involved. “This election is critical, and so I will vote. I believe my vote will make a difference, and the person I will vote for will win and give us the best leadership,” he added.
E.L also took time to reflect on his music career. He admitted that he has been less active in the music industry for a while. Although he has released a few tracks, he hasn’t been as prominent as he used to be. However, E.L shared exciting news about his recent project, Bar 7, stating that they are planning a Bar 7 concert in September. The concert aims to treat fans to great hip-hop performances, featuring both E.L and special guest performers.
As he continues to return to the music scene, he was asked about his thoughts on the Ghana Music Awards. He confidently expressed that his latest album, Bar 7, is doing well and deserves recognition. “The tracks on Bar 7 are rising, and the entire album is performing excellently. It deserves a chance to compete,” he said.
With his upcoming vote in a critical election and his return to the music space, E.L is setting himself up for a significant year both in his career and personal life.
