Afropop and afrobeat star, King Promise, was all set to perform at the free Summer Stage event in New York. Unfortunately, the organizers had to cancel the event due to bad weather conditions.
On Twitter (X), they announced, “For the safety of our staff, artists, and guests, tonight’s King Promise show in Crotona Park has been canceled due to severe weather in the area.”
The event was scheduled to take place at Crotona Park, dubbed as GhanaFest-NY. Alongside, @danny11281 and DJ Faddah Faddah were also set to perform. However, the severe weather made it necessary to cancel the show to ensure everyone’s safety and well-being.
