Entertainment critique Mixtic RomRas has hit hard on Ghanaian Djs and presenters for their involvement in killing dreams over lack of professionalism in execution of their works.
On Kingdom 107.7 Fm’s entertainment city with dj berimah, the entertainment critique was hard on producers for giving little to no time allocations to artistes who have paid for their music to be aired.
He argued that, some producers, Djs and presenters allocate just a little time to artistes for promotions which shouldn’t be so.
“Some producers will just allocate about 10 minutes to artistes for them to promote their project. In some instances, an artistes may be promoting an album, you will see a producer telling an artiste to bring only one song from the album for promotion instead of playing a little portion of each songs from the album he or she maybe promoting. Some artistes would have to pay 150, 200 and sometimes 300 cedis and are just given a little time for interviews”, Mixtic RomRas said.
These he described as absurd and a canker killing artiste’s dream and preventing a lot or art to see the light in their career.
Mixtic RomRas believes it’s about time Djs, and presenters do the right thing especially with time allocations for interviews.
On the show, he cautioned Djs and presenters together with producers to be more professional about their jobs and do the right thing for it will go a long way in building a prosperous industry everyone has been yearning for.
