Renowned Gospel musician Philipa Baafi has made it clear that she will not write songs for any political party. In an interview with Anita Akuffo on TV3, Philipa Baafi stated that she does not support any political party. Although her songs can be used by political parties, she will not compose songs specifically for them.

When asked why she won’t create campaign songs, Philipa Baafi explained that politicians usually want songs that match their goals and interests.” Any ofy songs they want to use, they are free to use but I won’t compose a song for any political party” shae said. She prefers to stay focused on her Christian faith and Gospel music rather than getting involved in politics.

Philipa Baafi’s popular song “Go Higher,” released in 2007, was used by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in their 2008 election campaign. Despite this, she remains firm in her decision not to compose music for political purposes.

In addition to being a Gospel musician, Philipa Baafi is also a Physician Assistant. She is dedicated to her Christian life and chooses to concentrate on her Gospel music rather than seeking financial gain through political associations.
