Ghana Highlife and Afrobeats singer Eugene Kwame Marfo has confirmed his recovery status after the ghastly motor accident that got his fans and loved ones worried.
The Rockstar has provided an update on his health for the first time since his accident on Sunday, March 17, 2024. This message, which breathes some positivity to lovers of the Ghanaian top vocalist, was posted on his Instagram page on Thursday, March 28, 2024, with footage of the artiste working on some music production. He has released a beautiful song titled ‘Canopy’, which is obviously related to the incident he encountered.
In the said post, the Kuami Eugene expressed gratitude to God, his family, and the staff at the University of Ghana Medical Centre for their exceptional care. He also added a message appreciation to the general public, especially his fans, for their well wishes and prayers since the incident occurred. The images of himself in the hospital facility attached to the post was an assurance to everyone that he is doing well, nevertheless, some fans are worried that the Angela hit maker is stressing himself on work instead of concentrating on getting better.
The Instagram post reads, “I want to say thank you to God, My family, the staff of UGMC and all of you for your prayers, your positive thoughts and your acts of kindness. The support and love that I received have been breathtaking and beyond my expectations. “
Kuami Eugene sustained a broken arm in the accident that occurred at CP, close to the DSTV office towards the Dzorwulu traffic light in Accra. According to Emmanuel Ajarfor Abugri, the editor for Modern Ghana news portal, who witnessed the accident, he was right behind the musician’s car around 11:30 p.m., when the unfortunate situation occurred. He explained that a tipper truck was in motion but moving slowly when the musician crashed into it from behind.
The Lynx Entertainment frontliner is recovering well and has earned some nominations in the Telecel Ghana Music Awards, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 1, 2024. Hopefully, the Rockstar will be fit on time to grace the event with a performance.
